Job description
The Career Coach is responsible for the planning and operation of the DHA program.
MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Public Health or related field
- Two years related experience
- Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills required
- Computer Literacy required
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in activities and strategic planning for the Delta Health Alliance Workforce Development, including completion of training and implementation of programs in various settings.
- Ensure programming sessions are inclusive to all groups, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, gender identity, and/or sexual orientation.
- Ensure that all sessions follow curriculum guidance and are taught in sequence and on time.
- Coordinate and refer adolescents to available resources to maximize the effectiveness of the Delta Health Alliance network of career and community resources.
- Represent the Delta Health Alliance in collaborative community-wide activities while developing positive working relationships with local, state, and federal agencies.
- Participate in formalized tracking and reporting systems to maintain program fidelity, identify program strengths, recommend program changes, and evaluate program outcomes.
- Other duties as assigned.
