Principal Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert for EDI claims and processing for Application Development, DevOps, and external stakeholders
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the billing process
- Own creation of daily and weekly reports for claims and billing
- Triage and resolve issues with EDI claims and billing
- Able to speak to billing and claims metrics (time, volume, type of claims, etc.)
- Assist DevOps in day-to-day management of nightly jobs
Required Skills/Experience
- Minimum 5 years of technical experience in DevOps engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, applied information technology or related subject matter
- Familiarity with healthcare EDI specifications (X12.HIPAA)
- Basic understanding of batch/nightly jobs
- Working knowledge with job scheduling tools (Control-M is a plus)
- Working knowledge with EDI validation tools
- General familiarity with .NET based application development environment
- Strong understanding of Agile and the software development life cycle, specifically design, debugging, testing and documentation
- Working knowledge of source control applications. Git-based preferred.
- Excellent detail-oriented organizational and communications skills
- Familiarity with information security and HIPAA requirements
- Detail-oriented, quick learner with the ability to multi-task
