JOB SUMMARY:
Echota Behavioral Health is growing, and we are looking for a leader who can guide the financial systems that empower us. We are searching for an experienced chief financial officer to join our team and keep our finances positioned for continued success. The CFO will have a day to day, ongoing impact on company operations, helping us to analyze, strategize, and grow our financial position. This seasoned strategist will not only understand current accounting practices and trends, but also will have experience raising capital and adapting to change, whether it?s through growth or downsizing. As a member of senior management, the CFO will be comfortable in a leadership role that requires clear and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities include:
? Directs all accounting functions performed internally or by outside parties.
? Prepares monthly performance statistics and communicates with
Executive/Administrative Director
? Responds to any/all data request in a timely manner.
? Plans and manages the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes by
establishing goals and monitoring progress against scheduled processes and
by reviewing various reports to ensure data accuracy.
? Research complex accounting issues and recommends proper accounting
treatment in accordance with GAAP.
? Reviews service contracts, grants, as well as other documents and
recommends changes as necessary.
? Evaluates and assists with high-level decisions about financial policy, strategy,
and internal controls.
? Manages financial systems implementations and upgrades.
? Establish accounting metrics and performance tracking tools and establish
corrective measures where needed.
? Work with Corporate Board Financial Officer to ensure timely delivery of reports
for auditing and tax purposes.
? Manages the company?s fiscal activity, including forecasting, budgeting,
reporting, and auditing.
? Assuring legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitoring compliance
with laws and regulations.
? Identifying and addressing financial risks and opportunities for the company.
? Reviewing financial reports for ways to reduce costs.
? Working well with the management team to develop the strategic plan.

Other Requirements:
? Master's degree in a relevant discipline, or MBA.
? At least 5 years? experience in a senior management position.
? Strong understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, tax, and audit
planning
? Experience with federal grants preferred.
? Proven negotiation skills.
? Ability to understand new issues quickly and make wise decisions.
? Ability to inspire confidence and create trust.
? Initiative-taking and self-directed with effective communication and problem-
solving skills.
? Ability to work professionally with sensitive, proprietary data & information while
maintaining confidentiality.
? Excellent leadership skills with steadfast resolve and personal integrity.
? Strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail.
? Must work well under pressure while multi-tasking in a demanding
environment.
? Must pass criminal background investigation, reference inquiry.
? Under P.L. 93-638, as amended, the company pursues a policy of Native
preference in hiring, contracting, and training.

NOTE:
In reference to the Personnel Policy, Section 1-5 Employment At -Will. All employees who do not have a written contract with the employer for a specific fixed term of employment are thereby employed at the will of the employer for an indefinite period. Employment with the Health Center, without a written contract, is voluntary and therefore employees are free to resign at will at any time with or without cause or reason likewise, the health Center may terminate the employment relationship at will at any time with or without notice and for any lawful reason deemed appropriate by the Tribe and Health Center staff or for good cause, bad cause, or no cause at all. This policy is commonly referred to as ?employment -at- will.?
