Seeking a dynamic and experienced Director to lead our team of child care professionals. The ideal candidate is a true leader who understands the importance of positive approaches and knows how to inspire and motivate a team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the child care center, including leading staff, scheduling, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for children.
• Maintain and implement educational play-based activity program that meet the needs of each child and promote their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Hire, train, and evaluate staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge necessary to provide excellent care for our children.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and professional growth for all staff members.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, staff, and community members, and effectively communicate with them on a regular basis.
• Manage the budget and financial aspects of the center, including tracking expenses, managing tuition payments, and maximizing revenue.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Early Childhood Education, or Child Development. (or min 45 credits, working towards degree)
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a leadership role in a child care center or related field.
• Knowledge of state licensing regulations and experience with licensing inspections.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead with positive approaches and inspire and motivate a team.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
