Supports department's ability to distribute, coordinate, and assess educational programs across departments and locations in an efficient, fast and cost-effective manner with a focus on delivering quality customer service. Coordinates TriWest's Learning Management Systems (LMS), Virtual Campus (LiveConnect), and instructor-led courses. Maintains training calendars, coordinates the trainer's classroom schedules, creates and edits the virtual classrooms, and ensures the final version of the content is loaded and available for each class. Maintains the final live-version of all classroom material. Ensures optimized use of technology in the virtual classroom, including tracking usage reports from LMS, and virtual campus platforms supporting users with registration, access, and learning techniques, assigning Web-Based Training (WBT) content in the LMS, and coordinating instructor-led training classes.


Education & Experience


Required:

o High School Diploma
o Experience Administering a Learning Management System (Example: LMS Administrator, Sub Administrator, User Group Administrator) or Virtual Classroom software


Preferred:

o Associate Degree
o Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Key Responsibilities


o Supports TriWest's Intranet and Internet based Learning Platforms. Respond to inquiries from both internal and external customers assisting them with access, technical support, and course/class assignments.
o Works with management and staff to ensure all employees are assigned the correct LMS content, using individual LMS accounts, user groups, and curriculum sets in the LMS. Functions as front-line support to employees including setting passwords. Assigns asynchronous content to staff members in the LMS.
o Coordinates process of instructor-led training, including registration, waitlists, cancellations, dedicated classes, and roster templates for both e-learning and instructor-led learning. Trains instructors how to conduct virtual classes, meetings, and webcasts. Conducts programs to train instructors on using virtual tools on the instructor's LiveConnect pallet, coaches on controlling the classroom and student interaction.
o Assists with projects and tasks when implementing system enhancements and integrating with TriWest's LMS and virtual campus.
o Works with training staff to develop synchronous LiveConnect class schedules. Create classes in LiveConnect according to the schedule.


o Works with instructors to ensure that all prerequisites and pre-course work is completed before students register for synchronous courses.
o Facilitates the Corporate New Employee Orientation (NEO) as needed. Responsible for introducing new employees to TriWest Healthcare Alliance and specifically the Training Department.
o Coordinates the data management process for back-end reports identifying usage. Extracts data from internal and external Learning Management Systems and internal and external virtual campuses to document training outcomes and compare to TriWest goals and objectives. Compiles course surveys and prepare summary feedback reports.
Works with IT staff to ensure nightly downloads occur as planned to create user accounts. Notifies appropriate parties to resolve download issues. Ensures correct codes are assigned to user accounts so proper modules are available to a user. Creates special user groups for special requirements.

o Maintains the LMS course catalog, including editing and updating curriculum of e-Learning and instructor-led learning, including internal courses/classes and third party vendor catalogs.
o Regular and reliable attendance is required.
