Immediate openings at LPVEC for Bus Drivers and Monitors.

LPVEC prides itself on the service we provide the students in several districts in the Pioneer Valley.

As a School Bus Driver your primary responsibility is to ensure the safe, orderly, and professional transportation of students on an assigned bus route. You will transport students and other personnel to and from schools or other designated locations. This is a position in transportation requiring specialized experience and training.

As a monitor, you would ride the school bus to ensure the safety and care of the students. Some specialty monitors assist students with special needs or as an individual aid.

If you are not a licensed bus driver and are an applicant accepted in the bus driving program, we will provide you the training and course work to prepare you for obtaining your bus driving license.

We also have the opportunity for part time work during the school calendar year for those who hold an active CDL/School Bus License or those that would like to be a Monitor.

If selected, applicants are subject to background and drug screens in accordance with DOT, prior to employment start date.

Full time employees are eligible at 20 hours per week. Benefits include options for medical, dental, Colonial Life & vision insurance, retirement plans and more.

We provide paid sick leave and we work 184 days based on the calendar school year. Summer opportunities are based on available openings and bids and or seniority.
