DRIVER'S HELPER

Humboldt Storage and Moving has opportunities for candidates to work with our Drivers as Driver's Helpers.

Candidates will work directly with and be supervised by Drivers on specific customer moving jobs in the field and will be compensated directly from the Drivers on a per day/job basis. Candidates will be put on a 'Labor List' for future call backs to work with drivers.

Potential Work Days and Hours:

• Candidates will be called as needed.

• Candidates will be given ample notice of when/where to report for work.

• Potential week: Monday – Fridays, and Saturdays.
• You may be requested to report to Canton by 6:30AM, or, to meet the driver at the job site at a certain time.
• The 'end time' on a daily basis is undetermined. The job(s) is over when the job has been completed.
• A background check is required.

Are you hard working, strong and dependable? This job requires working within a Moving Crew team, lifting and moving household items, loading & unloading trucks with the ability to continuously go up and down stairs in customer homes or businesses.

A typical day requires consistently lifting up to 75 pounds and one must be willing to work each day, as requested, until the job has been completed. Military Members and Veterans welcomed to Apply.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:
All employees are required to wear protective masks on the job, in customer homes and in the warehouse facility. Gloves can be brought or provided and hand sanitizers are available on our trucks and in our warehouse facility. Social distancing as well.
