Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Includes but is not limited to the following:

• Maintain a safe work environment as outlined by NEW Cooperative’s policies and procedures.
• Deliver bulk orders safely by operating delivery vehicle in a safe manner, following all regulations.
• Maintain the delivery vehicle and perform or request all necessary upkeep and maintenance to the vehicle.
• Manage the inventory of both bulk and packaged products, keeping accurate records of items/quantities delivered.
• Communicate the safe storage and handling procedures to all customers for petroleum products.
• Work closely with Energy Sales Team on new customer acquisition
• Be knowledgeable about the refined fuels, oil products and marketing programs offered by NEW Coop.

Position Requirements

• Must have or be willing to obtain a Class A CDL and necessary endorsements (tanker, hazardous materials) while also being insurable to drive.
• High School diploma with equivalent work experience.
• Understand the weather conditions, know that temperatures may be below or above normal, depending upon the time of year and adjustment is necessary to maintain high levels of customer service.
• Understand the seasonality of the business and the in-season time commitment.
• A proficient level of understanding of Microsoft Office programs including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. as well as a comfort level working with computers in general.
