Our mission at New Hampshire Job Corps is to provide cost-free, career-based technically and academic training to low-income youths ages 16-24.

Your Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of one year working with the youth population preferred.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.

Your Salary & Shift: $16/hour, Wednesday - Sunday 3pm-12am, Monday & Tuesday Off

Your Responsibilities:

  • Educate the students on developing independent living skills while providing them with support.
  • Ensure the safety of students while on dorms.
  • Conduct leisure activities while in the dorm, and create community groups to help educate students on social skills, job searching, healthy relationships etc.
  • Encourage students to complete the program and provide support with their classes.
  • Maintain student files physically and electronically. Ensure files are complete, accurate, and updated regularly.
  • Transport students to and from recreational activities, off Center jobs, airport, bus stations, or other locations if necessary.
  • Provide proactive conflict resolution. Counsel students in areas of behavior, training, person hygiene, and study habits.
  • Communicate regularly with other dorm members, counselors, and instructors on student concerns that could affect their performance throughout the day.
  • Other duties as assigned or needed per the Dorm Life Coordinator or Supervisor
