Job description
Production Associate I
Goodwill Industries of NE Ohio and NW Pennsylvania has an immediate need for full-time Processor(s) at our Ashtabula, OH facility.
Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for the quick and efficient movement of product from the production area to the sales floor. Expected to process using One Touch System production standards which focuses on moving the product.
Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to follow safety guidelines
- Ability to get along with others and follow directions
- Strong sense of urgency
- Meet goals and deadlines
- Production or manufacturing experience a plus
- Knowledge of collectables or antiques a plus
- Fast paced motivated individual
Education
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Work Environment and Physical Demands
Plant environment with frequent exposure to lint and dust generated by handling donated clothes and goods. Standing for extended periods of time and occasional bending and twisting, with ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The employee is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; frequent talking and hearing, and use of close, distance, color, and peripheral vision and depth perception
