Dog Grooming Administrative Assistant AND Grooming Assistant Position:

We are looking for a positive, reliable, hard-working person who loves and understands dogs to join our Waggy Tails Family! The ideal candidate would be an upbeat, cheerful, dog lover who can welcome our beloved dogs and dog parents when they are checking their dogs in and out for grooming.
They must love people and dogs!

***This position is to be a Dog Grooming Assistant 2-3 days a week and the Administrative Grooming Assistant 2-3 days a week (5 days total).****
We are open Tuesday- Saturday, Shifts are usually start between 8-10AM and end between 3:30-5:30PM (usually no longer then 8 hours).

Compensation is based on experience and skill. This is an entry level position with lots of room to grow within our company.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Bathing/Drying/Brushing Dogs
Massaging and Pampering Dogs
Check ins/check outs
Managing the front desk
Counting money
Data Entry
Answering phone, texts and emails
Managing Social Media
Scheduling appointments
Cleaning
Assisting Groomers and Grooming Assistants however they may need

Must be at least 18 years of age and able to lift 40lbs.

***Must have at least one year of professional dog handling experience (daycare, training, bathing, grooming, etc.) and have some basic knowledge about dogs. Dog Grooming/bathing experience is a bonus but we will train the right person.
Must be able to focus in a fast paced environment.
Must be able to type using proper grammar.

It is important to know that grooming and bathing and checking in and out dogs is a very physical job that is also very rewarding and fun. This is an entry level position with lots of room to grow within our company.

Must live within 15 miles/30 minutes of Waggy Tails Dog Grooming, 3 Greenlawn Ave, South Grafton, MA.
