Position Description:

The position is responsible for dispatching and/or document controlling our drivers in/out of our Anderson, IN location, as well as processing all delivered paperwork for Carter Express. Responsibilities include ensuring drivers have all necessary paperwork/tools to be successful on their route. All delivered paperwork is audited, scanned, indexed, and sent to accounting.

Requirements/Skills:

1. Dispatch/transportation experience a plus.

2. Prior Route Management experience a plus.

3. Must be able to effectively communicate to all organizational levels.

4. Must be able to effectively manage drivers, including enforcing current company policies and ensuring accuracy of paperwork to be successful on their routes.

5. Processing route/driver paperwork.

6. Ability to work independently.

7. Auditing/scanning skills are preferred.

8. Proven ability to solve problems and work in high pressure situations.

9. Knowledge of TMW software.

10. Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

11. Know, support and enforce company policies and expectations.

12. Organized, responsible and dependability a MUST.

Education/Experience:

• Experience in logistics, manufacturing, or office administration preferred.

Work Schedule:

- Monday through Friday 11pm - 7am

- Some weekends may be available.

- Flexibility in schedule when coworkers take time off a plus.

- Weekend requirements to be determined-weekend rotation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
