Goldbelt C6, LLC., is seeking a Diversity Recruitment Consultant to provide the customer with the tools for identifying a more diverse recruiting pool and lay the groundwork for a future fellowship program. This position will support the Bureau of Intelligence and Research (INR).

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Review of current bureau communication programs and messaging for impact and
  • attractiveness, particularly to wider audience of potential applicants.
  • Assessment of the efficacy of current bureau hiring practices with an emphasis on
  • realistic qualifications standards.
  • Development of partnerships with MSIs to build long-term relationships and educate
  • students on Department of State and INR opportunities.
  • Recommendations for INR specific paid fellowship or internship program to develop a long-term pipeline of potential qualified candidates.

NECESSARY SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Understanding of federal government recruitment regulations and protocols
  • Familiarity with collegiate job search programs
  • Previous collaboration with Minority Serving Institutions
  • Expertise in oral and written communication.
  • Knowledge of software packages MICROSOFT OFFICE, OUTLOOK, EXCEL, WORD, POWERPOINT and ACCESS
  • Familiarity with Department manuals, circulars, instruction, and directives as well as knowledge of the IC
  • Familiar with Department of State and IC hiring process
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of diversity and inclusion (DEI) principles and experience in the DEI field
