Distribution Manager
Job description
As Field Project Manager you will manage a Distribution OH/UG Hardening Program to ensure all phases of approved projects are completed efficiently and within scope, on schedule and within budget.
This role requires strong Customer relationship and interface skills. The PM will also work closely with Customer Management and company personnel in Operations, Construction, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Purchasing and the PMO.
Primary duties will include overall responsibility for the management of all aspects of the program, ensuring that all aspects of the projects are documented and completed in accordance with company policies and all regulations and laws.
ACCOUNTABILITIES - PRIMARY DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, Southeast Region.
- Be responsible to take the necessary action to see that the projects are completed efficiently, on time and within the established budgets.
- Integrate and manage the cross-functional project team to develop appropriate project roles and responsibilities.
- Drive work products by coordinating and working with Operations Leads and Managers to track and execute client deliverables.
- Manage the team’s development of a comprehensive project plan, schedule, communications plan and change control methodology.
- Coordinate the development of a detailed project budget and cash flow.
- Manages the reporting of project scope, budgets, schedules, and progress.
- Manages execution of the project plan and change control management process.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management (preferred);
- Master’s degree and Project Management classwork are desirable.
Experience
- > (5) years of related experience with Project Management is highly desired.
- > (5) years prior experience in OH and UG distribution and storm hardening
This position requires 90% field presence.
The candidate is not required to relocate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
