Job description

We are looking for an experienced Fleet Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our fleet, including scheduling, maintenance, and safety. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of fleet management processes and procedures, as well as the ability to develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Additionally, the Fleet Manager will be expected to ensure that all vehicles are properly maintained and all drivers adhere to safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor fleet performance and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce fleet costs.
• The Fleet Manager supervises and is responsible for policies and procedures, staffing, personnel requirements and training, safety and medical, cost accounting, material control, operation services, maintenance operations and interfaces.
• Defines areas and determines equipment to support the functions and responsibilities performed.
• Determines responsibilities and functions performed, defines job descriptions, interviews and hires potential candidates. Ensures administrative and operational needs of the employees are met through adherence to wage and benefit guidelines. Develops and provides training programs to ensure consistent performance and continuous reinforcement of skills.
