Dishwasher’s Job Summary:

To maintain a clean and safe kitchen area for all of team members. To wash and clean all plate ware, pots, pans and cooking equipment and keep the cleaning station and equipment clean and organized.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Sets up Dish station according to Steritech and Health Inspection Standards
• Able to wash and fill sinks, inspect and test sanitizer for proper temperature or chemical mix
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems to the kitchen leaders immediately.
• 100% Accountability for the cleanliness of dishware
• Able to hand wash all kitchenware in a timely and efficient manner
• Ability to monitor water temperature and chemical levels to ensure sanitary wash cycle
• Ensures all kitchen utensils and containers are washed and put back in proper area
• Keep dish room clean and organized with plate ware decoy system always in place
• Maintain superb levels of cleanliness
• Safely administer trash and cardboard compactor
• Bag and haul kitchen trash to dumpster and recycling bin
• Maintain clean disposal/dumpster area
• Clean food preparation and production areas as required
• Able to lift/pull/push at least 45 pounds
• Servsafe/Food handler Certificate will be required upon job offer
• Keep up with routine grooming, cleanliness and appearance: clean shaven, hair away from face, finger nails cut or filed short

Additional Info:

• Scheduled 35-40 hours a week
