Base Pay Overview
The typical offer range for this role is minimum to midpoint, with the midpoint representing the average pay in a national market scope for this position. Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will consider a wide range of factors directly relevant to this position, including, but not limited to, skills, knowledge, training, responsibility, and experience, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Position Overview
A Director is a strategic leader for the organization, responsible for carrying out the strategic direction for the organization internally. Directors participate in as members of the Directors Team as well as in annual strategic meetings. Directors provide clear direction for accomplishing the vision of the organization and are the major executors of the organization’s vision within their respective domains. Directors motivate the achievement of the vision by providing the information, knowledge and methods to realize that vision, by coordinating and balancing the conflicting interests of stakeholders, and by setting high level priorities to achieve success metrics.
The individual in this role is expected to grow the Administrative Services offered to OCHIN members and other organizations as defined by increased revenue and breadth of services. They will be expected to increase the financial stability of the Administrative Services business line as well as the diversification of the revenue generating activities of the Manager Services business line. They will successfully develop the Administrative Services teams and provide team leadership as measured by retention and staff advancement. They will consistently achieve or exceed organizational metrics and goals and clearly define organization policies as communicate them to staff.
Essential Duties
- Developing, aligning, and prioritizing business line goals with oversight over all administrative services OCHIN provides which currently includes Administrative Support, Facilities, Compliance (Audits and Risk Assessments) and Policy.
- Seeking, building, and leveraging partnerships and relationships, in concert with other Business Lines in order to further the goals and strategies of the organization to extend and expand the administrative services that OCHIN provides to support its staff and its membership.
- Developing and maintaining a cohesive structure and a central repository that houses OCHIN policies and procedures in one central location and identifies them by team as well as a process for the review and dissemination of this information and for the updating of existing policies.
- Work in partnership with Business Development and Account Manager to support expansion and spread of administrative services among new and existing OCHIN members in meeting established goals around adoption and revenue goals
- Making strategic hiring decisions, leading succession planning efforts, and developing and retaining staff to ensure the continued success and growth of the Business Line
- Identifying and proposing organizational policies; ensuring that policies remain relevant in response to changing organizational needs and shifts in the environment
- Identifying and mitigating issues by providing strategic insight and direction in order for the Business Line to successfully achieve its established goals
- Contributing to making Business Line budget input decisions; ensuring the sustained financial success of the organization and the financial sustainability of the Administrative Services business line.
- Embodying the organization’s culture of service by demonstrating exceptional customer service for internal and external customers
- Identify and operationalize new Administrative Services opportunities with additional services.
- Modeling responsible and professional behavior at all times as an executive of OCHIN
- Modeling hiring practices that are in keeping with OCHIN’s commitment to its DEI principles and policies
- Able to travel as needed in support of OCHIN membership
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in applicable major with graduate degree preferred
- 12- plus years of healthcare and/or IT industry operational business leadership experience
- Federally Qualified Health Center industry experience preferred
- Strong administrative organizational and leadership skills
- Experience with global enterprise a plus
- Strong alignment to OCHIN’s organizational values
- Relational leader with strong team development and coaching as well as change management and conflict resolution skills
- Convincing communication skills, both written and verbal
- Bi-lingual capability preferred
- Ability to escalate and resolve issues
