Job description
JobSummary: To provide department development, management, and spiritual support/resources/counseling for area clergy, internal customers, and those in the community. To provide Educational Supervision, oversight and Management for CaroMont’s CPE programs, Education for clergy, volunteers, customers, staff, physicians, as well as those in ethical dilemmas as individual and group belief systems are impacted.
Qualifications: Completion of a Master of Divinity (or equivalent) degree from an accredited (ATS) seminary. Certification as an ACPE Certified Educator , endorsed by a recognized denominational endorsement body, experience with Palliative Care. Board Certified Chaplain (or eligible) with the Association of Professional Chaplain (APC) or the National Association of Catholic Chaplains or the National Association of Jewish Chaplains) eligible. If not endorsed, endorsement must be obtained within 15 months of hiring date. In addition, 2-4 years of experience as a hospital chaplain/manager are required. Certifications must be maintained throughout employment.
