Job description
We are seeking a Director of Supplier Management. This role leads a team of managers, serving as a key point of contact between GBT and our airline and car supplier partners.
The successful candidate will have….
- Excellent relationship skills to build a network of internal and external stakeholders across GBT
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to distil complex topics into easily understood and concise communications
- Strong analytical skills: able to look at various reports, understand changing trends within travel, and the implications that has on our supplier partners and customers.
- Project management skills: able to plan, track and implement complex initiatives across multiple teams/stakeholders
- Experience in travel or B2B
- Experience in B2B sales, relationship management
- Understanding of travel management company processes and systems
- A basic understanding of airline distribution
- An experienced leader, building and growing a high-performance team of future leaders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant
- 8+ years of experience in strategy, sales, or relationship management role
- Curious and eager to learn, willing to take measured risks to improve success rate.
- Self-motivated, detail oriented and able to deliver results with minimal supervision. Able to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
- Able to communicate effectively with senior leadership.
- Ability to adapt quickly, manage priorities and expectations of multiple stakeholders at different levels in the organization.
- Ability to influence and motivate others at all levels of the organization, successfully build and manage relationships with stakeholders and colleagues, and work in a matrix environment across multiple geographies and functional areas.
Location
The US national annual base salary range for this position is from $100,000 to $200,000. The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for either our Annual Incentive Award plan, which rewards participants based on company and individual performance, or eligible for one of our metric-driven Sales Incentive Plans (certain sales roles only). An eligible employee can only participate in one of these plans during an eligible period. This role is also eligible for awards under the company Equity Incentive Plan, which is designed to align participants' interests with those of shareholders.
