Our Company is looking for a bright, motivated Specialty Director. The Specialty Director will report directly to the Sr. VP of Specialty and Soft Tissue Management and will work closely with our Clinical Directors and Directors of Operations to ensure financial, operating and patient care excellence. The Director of Specialty will have a passion for building high-performing teams that are dedicated to achieving results and supporting the company's values and goals. This position requires collaborating with office management, both clinical and non-clinical, Director of Operations, Clinical Directors and Corporate Leadership as it relates to dental office financial and operating metrics, leadership, communication, motivation, and patient care.
Responsibilities:Growth and Execution:
- Work with CDs and DOs to expand number of specialty days in an office and specialty lines being offered
- On acquired offices, implement specialties by line of business based on the office needs
- Establish templates for successful specialty days by line of business
- Initiatives for specialty are as followed but not limited to:
- Implants
- Sedation
- Bone Graft
- MTDAD
- Reach benchmarks by specialty
- Exceed budgeted specialty revenue and initiatives annually
Operational Oversight:
- Oversight and management of specialty scheduled days
- Oversight and staffing to support specialty days
- Oversight of supplies and equipment for specialty days
- Work with CDs and DOs on low office PPDD specialty days and assist with bringing them up to the company average
Talent Acquisition:
- Work with our Talent Acquisition team moving candidates through the interview process and oversee the background process
- Assist with the onboarding of each provider
- Work with CDs to identify candidates for privileging Pedo, Exo, Endo, and Implants and help build a bench of privileged providers
- Assist QM on approval of providers
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Minimum two (2) years related work experience as a Business/Office Manager, with emphasis on managing a large Dental / Specialty Practice.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a multi-unit manager.
- Able to balance the necessary skills to achieve success with business results as well as people development
- Able to implement company strategic vision into actionable steps

- Good judgment and a strong grasp of people to work well with our employees, management and patients.

- Able to travel within region and to the corporate office on a regular basis
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc)
- Multilingual preferred
