Description
The Director of Recovery & Peer Services is responsible for the supervision, management and oversite of Synergy’s House Managers & Certified Peer Recovery Coaches.
Responsibilities
· Provides oversite & support to Recovery Residence House Managers to ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
· Creates & maintains weekly staff schedules to ensure property personnel coverage.
· Orients, trains & develops new House Managers/PRCs.
· Reviews & monitors and evaluates PRC documentation in company EHR System.
· Assigns & manages PRC caseloads to ensure adequate levels.
· Supports evaluation of program services to enhance resident outcomes and acts as a positive change agent to implement initiatives to increase quality resident care.
· Conducts Intake Interviews to assess the appropriateness of applicants in Synergy Program.
· Collects & responds to resident grievances in a timely manner.
· Review and process resident Phase change requests & promote standards in the Resident Accountability System.
· Facilitates the transport of residents to company group outings, appointments & other activities.
· Oversee schedule of Recovery activities such as AA, NA, Recovery Café, SMART RecoCelebrate Recovery etc.
· Works with SRN leadership team to identify opportunities for program improvement.
· Through the empowerment of House Managers, ensures residents are meeting their weekly IOP, Individual Therapy, PRC & Group meeting requirements.
· Collects & reports any residence maintenance issues, incidents, medications errors, etc.
· Refers residents to other support services as needed, such as medical evaluation and treatment, social services, and employment services.
· Participates in, leads and/or coordinates training sessions and workshops to enhance treatment skills.
· Attends staff meetings and team conferences; leads team meetings as required.
· Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
· Positive attitude and open approach to residents, staff and visitors.
· If in recovery, a minimum of 10 years of sustained recovery required.
· LCAC, LMHC, LSW, MSW LCSW, PRC Certification, CADAC II or other Addiction Certification and/or License
· Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
· Strong knowledge of addiction, treatment, and recovery.
· Experience managing a team is required
· Experience and ability to work with electronic medical records
