Director of People Operations - VacCon

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a positive, influential, and strategic Director of People Operations (DPO) to join our leadership team. This individual should be one who promotes a positive and engaging culture while developing people in a high-performance organization. As a key executive reporting to the President, the DPO will have oversight of the People Operations functions at VacCon. They will be responsible for managing the human resources life cycle of our employee-owners. They will provide leadership and insight regarding organizational, employee relations, organizational development, and human resource policy issues to VacCon's highly skilled, entrepreneurial, lean, employee-owned (ESOP) business.

Competencies:

Education and Experience Requirements:

A bachelor's degree and five to seven years' human resource experience, or ten years of experience in the HR field, or any similar combination of education and experience. Must be proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience working with HRIS systems required; proficiency with ADP Workforce Now desired. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is not required but is preferred.

• Build stronger performance management initiatives:
  • Identification and development of Mid to High potential employee-owners.
  • Identifying and establishing valid metrics
