About the Role:

As a Director of Operations at The Vets you will strategically lead and monitor daily operations. You will work closely with the VP of Expansion and Operations as well as our executives to identify best practice and develop processes, procedures and maximize growth. Some things you’ll work on include:

• Support Operations with complex decision making
• Work cross functionally with Research and Development and product teams to improve products and service offerings to drive growth and operational excellence
• Lead the implementation and deployment projects - eg. medical software.
• Participate in veterinary industry groups and organizations, attend trade shows, and events to spread brand awareness and promote The Vets' products and services.

Requirements:

• You have 5+ years of experience in Operations or Business Management
• You have 3+ years of experience leading operations teams
• Experience in Start-Up environments is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to to communicate at all levels
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of data
• You have a technical mindset with the ability to breakdown problems into digestible parts and proceeds through them in a systematic manner

Nice to Have:

• You have Veterinarian Industry or healthcare industry experience
