Requirements:
- Current RN license by the State of Vermont
- Previous Long-Term Care and Management experience
- Strong communication skills - with the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public.
- Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
- Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of teamwork and team concept.
- must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee therapeutic care given in a holistic systematic way
- Support clinical management of Eldercare delivery
- Produce quality care with optimal individual resident outcomes
- Oversee the facility, ensuring all employees have regular communication to improve the care provided to the residents of the facility.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, staff and medical team
- Work in partnership with your team to ensure quality, person-centered care
