The Director of Fund Development is directly responsible for the planning, implementation, management and oversight of all fundraising activities, donor relations and grant solicitation on behalf of Curative Care Network. Works to raise funds for Curative Care Network, by orchestrating and implementing highly-targeted identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship activity. The Director of Fund Development reports to the Vice President of Marketing and works closely with the President & CEO, Committees of the Board, volunteers and staff to enhance and support the overall mission of the organization.

Position Summary:

The Director of Fund Development is directly responsible for the planning, implementation, management and oversight of all fundraising activities, donor relations and grant solicitation on behalf of Curative Care Network. Works to raise funds for Curative Care Network, by orchestrating and implementing highly-targeted identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship activity. The Director of Fund Development reports to the Vice President of Marketing and works closely with the President & CEO, Committees of the Board, volunteers and staff to enhance and support the overall mission of the organization

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for developing a philanthropy strategy for the organization.
• Writes fundraising proposals, supporting documentation and other fundraising correspondence.
• Solicits and writes grant applications.
• Develops and executes annual fundraising plan and supporting budget.
• Works with the Vice President of Marketing and Communications to plan, execute and facilitate fundraising strategies.
• Cultivates major gifts and develops endowment process.
• Serves as a resource to the President and CEO on all matters related to fundraising, making periodic reports to the Board of Directors on the progress of development efforts.

Knowledge:

• Professional background should include at least eight years of experience in fundraising, particularly in preparing and soliciting major six and seven figure gifts.
• Requires experience developing and maintaining comprehensive fundraising programs including annual, major, principal, planned, corporate and foundation giving.
• Proven track record of principal-gift level fundraising
• Ability to work with and motivate a broad spectrum of people including major donors, community leaders, staff and the Board of Directors.
• Authentic alignment with the mission of Curative Care to improve the function and quality of life for persons with disabilities or limiting conditions through high quality care and services.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $59,991.00 - $114,554.29 per year
