Perimeter Behavioral Healthcare of W Memphis has an immediate opening for a Director of Facility Operations. This position would be overseeing the Dietary, Housekeeping and Maintenance Departments.

Duties for the Director of Facility Operations include the following:
- Supervises, recruits, and train all assigned staff.
- Ensure all assigned audits are completed timely and proper records are completed.
- Ensure all maintenance requests are completed properly.
- Conduct facility inspections to ensure a safe condition for facility and grounds and ensure all local, state, and federal guidelines are properly maintained regarding the assigned areas of responsibilities.
- Coordinate removal of all hazardous materials.
- Work with vendors regarding capital expenditure projects
- Maintain all facility audit and safety drill records and prepare life/safety reports too
- Responsibilities includes plumbing, masonry, carpentry, painting, electrical, refrigeration, automobile maintenance, air conditioning, flooring and landscaping
Qualified Director of Facility Operations candidates should have the following:
- Prefer some college regarding project management, plant operations or related field.
- Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma.
- Must have a minimum of 3-year management experience as a Director of Plant Operations and/or Maintenance in a hospital setting preferably in behavioral health. ·
- Must be knowledgeable of all Life Safety Codes pertaining to hospitals preferably inpatient behavioral health
- Knowledgeable and able to observe all safety measures. ·
- Knowledgeable of electrical and mechanical equipment and able to properly maintain department’s tools and equipment.
- Able to do routine labor and lift at least 60 pounds.
- Must have Driver’s License within the State of Tennessee and an excellent motor vehicle record. ·
- Must be able to take on-call on a routine basis for the Hospital ·
- Able to prepare reports for the quality assurance/performance improvement committees
