Director of Business Development/Finance | Mt. Airy, NC

About the Role: Our client, a well-established manufacturer and distributor of consumer products, is searching for a Director of Business Development/Finance. This role is critical to the financial success of the organization, and the selected leader will report directly to the CFO.

Other Key Information:

• Based in Mount Airy NC, and ideally the candidate will live in or be able to commute to Mount Airy. They can be flexible with some work from home accommodations for the right candidate.
• The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of performance in a finance, accounting, or financial based BD role.
• The role is a Director Level, and the candidate will be part of the Accounting/Finance Leadership Team, reporting directly to the CFO.

What The Role Will be Responsible For

• Management and accountability to clearly defined RTO P&L goals
• Management of >$30M of RTO inventory assets
• Collection of >$30M cash from >$17K contracts?
• Management of population of repossession (REPO) contracts
• Management of population of contracts in various stages of legal proceedings, including coordinating with outside council
• Design, implementation, and team member training of efficient RTO processes. This includes ensuring the tools, technology and processes are in place to achieve their goals.
• Development of business plans and strategies to support short, mid, and long-term goals
• Development of, and effective supervision of the RTO Teams to ensure and positive and professional culture and consistent delivery of their value proposition.
• Candidate will have a strong interaction with accounting/finance positions, including month-end and year-end closing requirements.

Structural Components

• The role will report directly to the CFO
• Direct reports to this position will include 3 Managers and 10 Collectors/Analysts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
