We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Director of Accounting to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operational accounting, building ledgers and processes, and managing various areas of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process. The candidate must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business/Accounting/Finance and 5-7 years of Finance and Accounting Experience (Public/Private). The candidate must also have excellent knowledge of Excel and years of experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the accounting team, including training and motivation of staff
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and company standards
  • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Analyze financial reports and assist in the improvement and execution process
  • Work closely with the CFO and other members of the management team to provide financial analysis and support for strategic decision-making
  • Manage the company’s cash flow and forecasting processes
  • Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations
  • Assist with the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing financial analysis and reporting to support the company’s growth objectives

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business/Accounting/Finance
  • 5-7 years of Finance and Accounting Experience (Public/Private)
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and years of experience
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
  • Experience building ledgers and processes
  • Experience managing the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
