Learning Institute Mission:
The mission of the 4A’s Learning Institute team is to help people and agencies grow, adapt, and thrive. We provide content, community, and guidance to the entire agency community, training the current and future leaders who will shape both industry and culture.
Purpose of Director of Learner Community and Experience
You will lead the design and development of training content across key areas of need, while engaging our community of agency learners and leaders in a vibrant partnership that drives program adoption and growth.
Learning Institute content consists of online, in-person, and blended programs, including but not limited to workshops, e-courses, simulations, microlearning, podcasts, and webinars. You’ll partner with the SVP of the Learning Institute to establish a new bar for excellence across our training formats, and you’ll work with industry experts to craft learning experiences that empower members to deliver insightful creativity.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop blended learning programs for a range of audiences, including individual contributors, managers, and executive leadership
- Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer
- Manage Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), vendors, and partners in the creation of new learning programs and assets
- Lead the transformation of existing content into dynamic learning experiences
- Drive Engagement across our growing learner community by partnering with agencies and thought leaders across the industry
- Partner with facilitators, program managers, and technology support to ensure seamless content delivery
- Partner with our Manager of Sales and Program Engagement to develop a strong internal support network among 4A’s member-facing staff and experts
- 5+ years’ experience in learning and development, instructional design, educational technology, learning experience design, or a related field
- Comprehensive understanding of the advertising industry
- Ability to solve problems and influence multiple levels of stakeholders
- Strong project management skills
- Experience authoring multimedia content across a variety of tools, such as Articulate Rise, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite, etc…
- Experience working across multiple Learning Management Systems
- Demonstrated application of adult learning theories to relevant training needs
- Strong background in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
- Excellent visual and verbal storytelling skills
