Position Summary:
Responsible for driving the strategy and performance of the outpatient Cancer Services practices at Kootenai Clinic. Has direct responsibility for leading clinic and service line operations in all Kootenai Clinic Cancer Services locations. May have additional management responsibilities as directed. This role will function in a collaborative leadership structure reporting to the Kootenai Clinic Primary Care Division Executive Director.

Responsibilities:
Leads, directs, and inspires high functioning clinical care teams to exceed the expectations of patients and providers

Drives strategies aimed at ensuring strong and sustained service relationships with referring providers

Performs day-to-day oversight and direction of clinical operations management staff

Serves and collaborates with the clinic leadership team to implement standardized practices consistent with the organization and across locations

Directs and acts as coach to managers and supervisors on best practices to serve our patients and most efficiently aid and enhance practice performance

Develops and reports on metrics for measuring practice performance internally and against industry benchmarks

Complies with all applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures

Performs other related duties as assigned

Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field

Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function

Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned

Requirements and Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in business, nursing leadership, healthcare administration, public administration or related discipline required, or in progress at the time of hire

Minimum 5 years’ experience and demonstrated performance in practice management required

Minimum 10 years’ experience in a professional business environment required, healthcare preferred

CMPE or FACMPE certification through Medical Group Management Association preferred

Working knowledge of value improvement and management system principles, and experience in leading change

Strong knowledge of physician practice financial administration and payer reimbursement

Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to plan, implement and manage multiple projects

Working Conditions:
Must be able to lift and move up to 10 lbs

Must be able to reach arms above or below shoulder height

Must be able to maintain a sitting position
