You will

Project Management

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the development team and various governmental agencies and departments for Land Development, Home Building, Multi-Family and Commercial projects.
  • Run point on due diligence for new projects
  • Plan tasks and schedules for entitlement and permitting
  • Manage feasibility studies, permit fee analyses and preparing project development reports
  • Manage entitlement and permitting research
  • Understand Zoning, General Plans, Municipal codes and ordinances and their impact to a project
  • Understand local, state and federal laws pertaining to land use, and environmental impacts including CEQA and NEPA
  • Facilitate and coordinate the review of title reports
  • Coordinate project specific public outreach efforts
  • Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner
  • Manage other duties, as assigned

Consultants

  • Manage consultant contracts and performance
  • Develop and maintain entitlement schedule and budgets
  • Lead, manage and direct consultants in design and development of Entitlement Plans
  • Ensure Project Vision is maintained throughout Entitlement Process
  • Manage Project Team coordination meetings, agendas, and records of decisions
  • Coordinate with internal team and outside legal counsel to draft CC&R’s, disclosures, and Sales and HOA documents

What you have

  • A Bachelor’s degree (from a four-year college or university preferred)
  • 3 - 5+ years of related experience and/or training
  • The ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • The ability to read architectural and engineering plans
  • Proficiency with MS Office and email
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
