DIRECTOR, 9-1-1

The Board of Trumbull County Commissioners seeks a qualified individual for the position of DIRECTOR, 9-1-1.

Reporting directly to the Board of Commissioners, the minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university or at least two years related experience. Responsibilities include interviewing and hiring employees, departmental planning and development, assigning and directing work, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

The person hired will coordinate with other Public Service Answering Points, State 9-1-1 Program Office for mandates and protocols, develop Standard Operation Policies, and act as a liaison with elected officials, police and fire departments, EMA services and County emergency and disaster services, among other duties relative to 9-1-1 Operations and Communications. Experience in budget preparation, development, and planning is necessary.

This position offers excellent benefits, including state pension with a salary of $67,044 to $99,479, depending on experience.
