Job Overview:

Duties of the Direct to Garment T-Shirt Printer include setting up and printing custom Direct to Garment (DTG) print orders while ensuring the best quality possible. The ideal candidate is creative, accountable, driven, and detail-oriented, with a strong desire to produce high-quality prints for t-shirts, hoodies, and other apparel items.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Operate the DTG printer to customize t-shirts and other products with customer-supplied designs
• Manage computer files & update project statuses in the order management software
• Review and inspect print jobs on garments to ensure all orders are completed on time, and consistently meeting the company's quality guidelines
• Prioritize order completion based on the due date, and execute DTG tasks, including reviewing work orders and machine setup
• Inspect print quality to ensure high-quality, accurate prints
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping the work area neat and complying with safety procedures, rules, and regulations
• Work cooperatively with all production personnel and departments within the overall workflow
• Ability to meet customer deadlines, including overtime if necessary
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Detail Oriented and highly organized
• Must be a self-starter and team player
• Ability to meet customer deadlines, including overtime if necessary
• Perform other duties as assigned by management*

Requirements:

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills

· Basic computer knowledge

· Able to resolve issues in a timely manner

· Able to handle large volume workload accurately and efficiently.

· Able to perform under deadlines

· Must be detail-oriented and well organized

· Is consistently at work and on time

Work Context:

· Requires repetitive movements

· Requires standing, sitting, walking, bending, twisting, ability to carry roughly 50 lbs., and read paperwork

· Requires good vision

· Job tasks are performed in close proximity to other people

Education and Experience:

· Previous experience in garment printing a plus
