SEEKING A PART TIME PROGRAM SUPPORT TRAINER FOR EASTER SEALS!

Salary: starting at $15.50/hour. 25 hours per week. Opportunity for growth.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-2:00pm. No nights

Location: Sacramento (Arden-Arcade area) or Citrus Heights

Skills Required:

• Passion for helping others
• Ability to teach and train others at their pace and learning style

• Comfortable working with a team and willing to collaborate and share ideas
• Basic knowledge of computers and familiarity with Microsoft Word and e-mail use

Adult day programs are person-centered and designed to offer assistance and training in the areas of social, recreational, educational, vocational, and community access to maximize independence.

As Program Support Trainer you will maintain a caseload of 1-3 individuals as needed. Duties associated with that responsibility include:

• Work with individuals served and the Planning Team to develop a Person-Centered Plan.
• Responsible for assuring that people served are happy with their services and receiving all provisions as agreed in their Person-Centered Plan.
• Daily documentation/case noting on the progress of individual goals and objectives.
• Assure Annual and Semi-annual reports are submitted to Regional Center for all individuals on the caseload.
• Act as a primary liaison/consultant to clients’ Planning team.

Required to Work:

• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Physical/Back Assessment
• TB Test
• DOJ Clearance

• Organized - able to multi-task and work with up to 3-4 people at a time.

• Assertive - able to ask for help when needed.
• Good judgment and moral compass – being an advocate for others and understanding that you are working with people who may not be able to speak up for themselves.
• Passionate – willing to bring your unique talents to the table and share them (i.e. artists, creators, tech skilled, athletes, gardening, musicians, etc.).
• A good sense of humor!
• Optimistic and positive outlook on things.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
