We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic persons for Weekend Counselor positions to work with and support individuals with developmental disabilities in Montgomery and PG County. Duties include assisting with activities of daily living as well as planning and supporting people to live a good life and follow their dreams. Location: Waldorf, MD
Shift: Mon-Fri. 9a-3p and 3p-11p
Sat Sun 7a-11p every weekend or every other weekend
Compensation: $16.15 hour to start. Benefits may include vision and dental insurance depending on average hours per week and 401(K) with generous employer match. Paid training. We also provide free meals while on duty and mileage reimbursement if you use your own vehicle.

COVID-19 Precaution(s): Personal protective equipment provided and required. Social distancing guidelines in place. Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place. Vaccination required of new hires. If not already vaccinated must be obtained in first 45 days of employment and weekly COVID testing required until fully vaccinated. Exemptions to vaccination requirement may be granted on medical or religious grounds.
Qualifications: High school diploma. Prior experience preferred but not necessary. The ideal candidate will possess an enthusiasm for working with individuals with unique challenges and have a keen interest in advancing their quality of life. If that is you, we will provide training! Must have valid driver's license, clean driving record and ability to drive company vehicle to transport individuals to community activities. CPR/First Aid certification required or must be obtained prior to starting. Proof of COVID vaccination required or must obtain vaccine in first 45 days of employment. All new hires will attend a paid two-day orientation (next orientation is May 4th and 5th) and must complete a comprehensive curriculum of paid online training classes prior to starting.
