Job description

This position reports directly to the Assisted Living Manager.

This is a full-time position, though the hours may fluctuate around the needs of the home.

This position requires a high degree of flexibility and communication with the designated immediate Supervisor.

This job requires an active drivers license.

Job duties in this role include, but are not limited to:

* Transporting of clients to and from designated locations such as doctors appointments, therapy sessions, social activities, Special Olympic activites, Temple/CHAI events, etc.

*Attending appointments and acting as an advocate for the individuals we serve

*Some weekend transportation to events and activities

*Assist by filling in on shifts in the Assisted Living home when needed

*Assiting with grocery and personal shopping, both for the home and for the individuals in the home.

*Assiting with meal preparation, if/when needed

*Aid in keeping up with routine vehicle maintenance (ie- oil changes, inspections and other general repairs).

*Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
