Lifesteps, a Western PA non-profit agency, is currently hiring full-time Residential Companions to provide assistance in a direct care capacity at our residential home in Pittsburgh, PA 15238 (Dorseyville area - near Hampton, Blawnox, Russellton, Deer Lakes)
This meaningful career assists adults who have a mental health diagnosis with their daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, medications, goal attainment, community outings, and social skills.
The Residential Companion candidate will have at least 6 months of experience working with mental health diagnosed clients or with challenging or behavioral individuals.
The Residential Companion positions are Full-time, 40 hours per week, and work a schedule of Daylight / Evening shifts OR Evening / Overnight shifts. (If this schedule does not fit your needs, please call us to discuss our flexible schedule options, full-time or part-time.)
Position Requirements:
- 18 yrs. or older
- Ability to lift up to 200 lbs. with assistance
- Valid driver’s license/auto insurance
- Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances required
- 6 months minimum experience with Mental Health individuals
