Dining Room Manager (Full Time) - Beautiful Senior Care Community

Greater Seattle Area

Knightcare Management is searching for a Dining Room Manager who is highly organized, a natural leader, and someone who has a passion for the culinary arts, as well as a flare for creating a fine dining experience. The Dining Room Manager will be responsible for creating an exceptional dining experience for the residents of a luxury Senior Care community. This person must be creative, have a hospitality mindset, and possess the leadership skills to manage and lead the dining room team.

Our client is a well regarded Senior Care organization offering luxury Assisted Living, Memory Care and Independent Living accommodations to the residents. They believe in providing excellent customer service and high quality food. The organization is continuously promoting a positive dining experience for the residents, while ensuring that their nutritional needs are being met. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Dining Room Manager in a Senior Care environment such as CCRC, Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, Memory Care and/or Independent Senior Living settings. The Dining Room Manager will have a commitment to safety and staff development, as well a providing a wonderful dining experience and flavorful, well-presented, and nutritious food.

Responsibilities include:

• Setting superior standards for the provision of a high quality dining experience.
• Set up and arrange for special events as needed.
• Ensure meals are delicious, consistent, prompt and healthy.
• Inspiring and motivating the dining room team to ensure that they perform their duties according to the highest standards.
• Consistently maintain a work environment where employees feel valued and respected at all times.
• Make sure all front of house personnel are properly trained and adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Assure consistent coverage of shifts as needed.

Qualifications:

• Possess a hospitality mindset, as well as a proven ability to drive excellent customer service and a first-class dining experience.
• Able to effectively manage the dining room budget for the community.
• Detailed oriented and able to meet deadlines.
• A strong passion for culinary excellence and outstanding service.
• Ability to show flexibility and resilience under stress, and be able to handle last minute requests.
• Previous experience leading a full service, high-volume dining venue or restaurant.
• Self-motivated and exhibit an aptitude for leading, coaching, and driving excellence.
• Previous experience working in a luxury Assisted Living, Memory Care or Senior Living environment strongly preferred.
