Reports To: Director of Marketing and Training

JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of the Digital Marketing Specialist is to effectively design, create, and deliver marketing programs to support expansion and occupancy goals of assets. This role requires an in-depth knowledge of CLK advertising platforms, properties, and market goals. Proficiency in graphics, photoshop, web advertising, web analytics, social media and website development is a must. Familiarity with a wide range of field practices, concepts, and procedures. Marketing specialists rely on judgment in planning and experience to accomplish identified goals.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing,
Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit reporting Act, and all other laws pertaining to apartments.

Technical Systems:

  • Planning, development and execution of national digital programs and campaigns, including online advertising, web site strategy and design, social media, mobile, and deliverables.
  • Interfacing with operations team and Director to establish and define goals, review reports, assess site level feedback, and make adjustments.
  • Leading ongoing management of digital touch points, including property websites, social media, reputation management, and mobile.
  • Managing digital agency relationships where assigned, day-to-day production, as well as campaign spend and schedules.
  • Editing photography as needed to improve overall look and feel of property websites.
  • Assist Director in the setup, implementation, and support of social media and reputation management initiatives. Defining goals, measurable benchmarks, and timelines.
  • Owning and maintaining site analytics, metrics, and campaign reporting.
  • In depth knowledge of SEO and AdWord programs.
  • Presenting recommendations to Director of Marketing.
  • Developing and coordinating multimedia packages.
  • Developing, managing and designing layouts of communications such as presentations, newsletters, event support materials, research papers, and brochures.
  • Editing photography as needed to improve overall look and feel of property websites.
  • Assist Director in the setup, implementation, and support of social media and reputation management initiatives. Defining goals, measurable benchmarks, and timelines.
  • Suggest and implement alternative and innovative advertising methods on an as-needed basis.
  • Assist the M&T department with any marketing deliverable projects.

Property Support Functions:

  • Act as a support contact for property issues when related to company policies within the

M&T scope, specifically digital products and online reputation or social issues.

  • Assist in the creation of policies and procedures as needed, generating support documents as required.
  • Assist in the facilitation of training programs as needed, including but not limited to CLK

Boot Camps, webinars, CLK Leadership Conference, and any on property training programs.

  • Assist with property support needs: field calls and provide support with end users for all applicable platforms. Assist in the troubleshooting of issues when escalated to the department for responsible applications.
  • Assist all department heads with support as needed to reach the goals of the company.

Special Projects:

  • Assist in due diligences, creating reports and gathering marketing information as needed.
  • Assist in various auditing functions performed by the M&T department including but not limited to semi-annual advertising spend reports, marketing source audits, and property website audits.
  • Own and manage new acquisition setups for digital marketing efforts on various platforms.

Administrative/Office

  • Attend scheduled corporate management meetings, usually held on a quarterly basis.

General

  • Perform any additional duties or tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Computer Skills: Thorough Knowledge of SEO and SEM, Word, Excel, Adobe
Captivate, Internet and Microsoft Outlook.

Office Equipment: Calculator, Copy Machine, Fax Machine, Telephone,
Webinar and remote meeting software knowledge.

Work Hours: Minimum of 40 hours per week.

EDUCATION/TRAINING

 Bachelor’s degree or diploma in graphics related field.

 2 years of experience in digital marketing within the telecommunications or tech industry.

Requirements

 Deep understanding of digital marketing and digital production.

 Proven experience delivering effective and innovative digital campaigns.

 Experience managing successful social media campaigns, and a solid understanding of social marketing.

 Solid understanding of web metrics, digital analytics, with the ability to generate, analyze and interpret data.

 Must be able to work under constant deadline pressure and manage multiple projects across multiple lines of business.

 Strong management skills, excellent oral and written communication skills.

 Experience delivering digital campaigns for mainstream products and services.

 Ability to work without direct supervision

 Ability to self motivate.

 Ability to motivate others.

 Ability to address customer service issues.

 Must be sales oriented with an eye for detail.

 Ability to set and reach goals.

 Organizational and documentation skills.

 Travel is required.

 Ability to work in a team environment.

 Must have a thorough working knowledge of Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe
Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Framemaker, DreamWeaver, CSS.

 Ability to communicate from a site level up to corporate level.

 Must have strong communication and problem solving skills.

 Possess a strong understanding of SEO and SEM and how to leverage these concepts for effective advertising at the site and company level.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year

COVID-19 considerations:
Employees in the Memphis area will report to the corporate office on a hybrid schedule. Employees outside this area will work remotely.
