The Digital Marketing Manager, Owned Brands will drive forward our digital business around owned brands, beginning with our current global TAMSY fashion brand. This role is anticipated to also begin supporting other innovative developing brands and external partnerships. This leader will have full ownership for planning, executing and adjusting digital marketing efforts in support of driving sales within our owned brands.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive online digital customer traffic to the TAMSY website, tracking customer purchasing patterns and using measurable data and product engagement to determine the next steps in growing the business
- Use Customer Experience as the backbone to reconfigure website design/ aesthetics, usability and navigation, relevant and accurate product descriptions and branding
- Create and improve performance metrics and measures to improve customer conversion rates, order size and profitability
- Monitor and adjust digital marketing campaigns and strategies as needed in response to collected data and feedback
- Direct and manage internal teams around promoting, ordering and allocating owned brand space and marketing accordingly
- Provide direction on Company vision, strategy and requirements to external partners as needed to meet and exceed brand and customer expectations
- Provide expertise on current eCommerce industry best practices among the team and report upward to Senior Leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including operations, Services, Merchandising, etc.) to ensure eCommerce principles are incorporated and considered
- Identify new areas of online sales opportunities to drive the business forward and gain market share
Managerial Requirements:
- Follow up on performance metrics within the team and ensure internal performance and results are within expectations
- Achieve individual and team KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and KRAs (Key Results Areas)
- Ensure all team members have access to, understand and are kept current on company policies and procedure
- Promote professional and personal development of team by utilizing systems for tracking service, quality, setting productivity goals, training and coaching as well as career opportunity programs
- Comply with company policies and procedures
- All other duties as assigned by the manager
Skills/Experience:
- Outstanding analytical skills, strong experience interpreting test results & drawing conclusions based on data and trends
- Ecommerce marketing experience with Google searches, social media, affiliates and influencers
- Broad understanding of SEO measurements and monitoring; solutions orientation on how to turn clicks into customer engagement and sales opportunities
- Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives
- Must be a seasoned professional in the digital retailing market, with strong D2C experience.
- Must have extensive knowledge of eCommerce technologies and tactics
- Must have an understanding with the ability to interpret data and draw conclusions to implement new eCommerce strategies
- Must be innovative and be able to demonstrate proven success in developing and rapidly growing digital D2C brand management
