Sonic Tools USA is actively seeking a Marketing Specialist to join their team located and headquartered in Auburn, Alabama.

The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for for managing company social media channels, creating and publishing engaging content for various platforms, and growing our online presence. In addition, this role will be responsible for the online customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media platforms and trends, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating compelling content.

This position reports directly to the Director of Marketing and will work closely with other marketing and sales team members to deliver key results.

Key Criteria/Minimum Requirements/Skills

  • Execute a results-driven social media strategy.
  • Develop and create engaging content for blogs and social media platforms.
  • Assist in the creation of written, video, and photo content.
  • Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.
  • Create monthly social media calendar.
  • Monitor social media channels for industry trends.
  • Interact with users and respond to emails, social media messages, inquiries, and comments.
  • Review analytics and create reports on key metrics.
  • Assist in the development and management of social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy.

Preferred Requirements/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
  • 1-3 years experience with B2C social media marketing or content development
  • Direct experience using social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud or equivalent digital media editing tools a plus
  • Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools
  • Excellent social listening skills
  • Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space
  • Strong copywriting and copy editing skills
  • Top-notch oral and verbal communication skills
  • Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
