Digital Marketer
Job description
We are looking for a Digital Marketing and Content Specialist to join our team. The person will be responsible for developing and executing digital marketing campaigns that reach and engage audiences. This includes creating and managing social media content, writing content for blogs and website pages, running paid advertising campaigns, and optimizing website content for search engines.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices. They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns that reach and engage target audiences
- Create and manage social media content
- Run paid advertising campaigns
- Optimize our website for search engines
- Track and analyze the results of our digital marketing campaigns
- Stay up-to-date on the latest digital marketing trends
- Write and ghostwrite long-form articles on technical and business subjects for our company and our customers
- Communicate technical topics for our target audience of varying levels of technical aptitude.
- Write, review, and edit copy on topics for our customers and for our own business.
- Act as editor of our company blogs and newsletters: Develop ideas, edit and format posts for publication
- Optimize SEO for all published content
- Adapt voice to different publications and audiences
- Work closely with graphic designers on sales collateral, social media posts, and marketing emails
- Interview subject-matter experts and clients to create articles and case studies
- Strategize and manage content calendar
- Be available to attend trade shows and conferences when requested.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred
- 2+ years of experience in digital marketing
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and how to use them to reach and engage an audience
- Experience with paid advertising platforms such as Google AdWords and Facebook Ads
- Experience with search engine optimization (SEO)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year. The actual salary offer will take in to account a wide range of factors including the individual’s qualifications, experience as well as location.
