Job Title: Digital Marketing Manager
Location: Cleveland, OH or Remote
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Avon Protection/Team Wendy is seeking a talented marketing professional to drive and maintain the digital marketing strategy for our Avon Protection and Team Wendy brands.
The Digital Marketing Manager will champion the two brands digital transformation through new website and e-commerce platforms along with the integrated tools. Working in collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners, the digital marketing manager is accountable for developing and implementing strategies that promote our brands through digital experiences. This role will oversee the strategies across various digital channels including social media networks, digital campaigns, website content, integrated tools, and email marketing to deliver a persuasive and cohesive marketing message to their audience.
Reporting to the global director of marketing, the successful candidate will have strong B2B and B2C digital marketing experience, a demonstrated creative and disruptive growth mindset, agile decision-making abilities, and effective stakeholder management abilities.

We design and produce life-critical personal protection solutions for the world’s militaries and first responders. With a portfolio that includes Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (“CBRN”), respiratory and head protection products, our mission is to relentlessly advance the future of protection. We do this through our two brands, Avon Protection and Team Wendy.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE ROLE:
- Champion the digital transformation for the new websites and e-commerce requirements.
- Manage requirements for digital tools and resources to support growth through digital platforms.
- Strategize, plan, and lead the implementation of technical and integration needs to make configuration changes to support business processes, including testing and implementing new functionality.
- Drive social media experience strategy and integration efforts via platforms.
- Oversees our social media presence, influencer communities and ensures alignment and performance of business initiatives, positioning the brands as market resource, contributor and thought leaders.
- Maintain a change management process for digital enhancements and phased implementation.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying learnings and recommendations for future improvements.
- Monitor market, competition, and digital trends to deliver optimal experiences through digital efforts.
- Contribute to marketing effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed.
- Measures and reports performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs).
- Identifies trends and insights and optimizes spend and performance based on the insights.
- Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing.
- Support cross functional teams in the planning, execution, and measuring of experiments and conversion tests.
- Through reporting and tools optimize user experience, identify critical conversion points, drop off points, and optimize user funnels.
- Recruit and manage internal team or external partners to support digital marketing efforts.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate has experience elevating brands to new levels in innovative growth environments. He/she will bring a proven track record of leadership and strategic growth across an integrated, consumer-centric digital marketing management function. Their background should combine sound analytic grounding, omnichannel perspective and strategic acumen.
Prospective candidates must be capable of working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment where creativity, intuition and relationship management are valued. Other desired experience / qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing or a related field
- Proven working experience in digital marketing, preferably in a similar industry
- Prior experience with a successful implementation of website and e-commerce platform (initial or upgrade)
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns
- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
- Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, WebTrends, BrightEdge, SEMRush, etc.)
- Working knowledge of ad serving tools
- Big picture, strategic thinker with grit to execute initiatives
- Professional relationship-building skills and social demeanor
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Meticulous organizational and time management skills
- Resourcefulness and attention to detail
The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Cleveland, OH and/or REMOTE is $100,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, type and years of experience within the industry, education, etc.
Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.
