Role Overview:

This role reports to the Vice President Digital Enterprise Services (DES). The role is considered a member of the DT DES extended leadership team and serves as the Project Manager and Staff Executive. In this role you will partner with the Collins DT DES VP and leadership team to drive a variety of projects, initiatives and other tasks identified in the portfolio of work this position manages. The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day operational cadence for DES leadership team. You will integrate and drive key activities through leveraging best practices, people resources and collaboration across Collins DES and other key stakeholders.

This role is tasked with leading a variety of DT DES projects and initiatives that will be determined based on business objectives and DES priorities. Role will be empowered to pull necessary resources and teams together (including the DES leadership team) to both convey objectives and expectations, while solving challenges and realizing opportunities. Additionally, in this role you will recommend and develop the agenda as well as content for a variety of leadership and employee meetings and coordinate with DES resources to ensure key metrics and operational milestones are captured for senior leadership reports/briefings.

Will be required to use the utmost discretion and safeguarding of sensitive personnel and business-related information. This role will serve in a rotating capacity with a typical assignment lasting 2 years.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive objectives and a variety of high-visibility projects and initiatives

  • Partner with DES VP and leadership to develop content (building off your ideas) for a variety of quarterly/regularly scheduled events including DES All Hands, offsite, operations reviews, ELT mtg content and other DES Reviews.

  • Engage with DES VP to develop an evolving communications campaign to drive awareness of strategy and strategic initiatives.

  • Prepare DES VP, by developing discussion objectives and key messages, for internal and external engagements.

  • Engage in Collins DES Communications and Change Management, targeted to ensure the DES team is aligned around objectives, create awareness of accomplishments, and organizational updates / changes.

  • Manage and organize the Operational tools used by DES organization (SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint)

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.

  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to collaborate and work across boundaries with the Collins DES Leadership team and at all levels of the organization

  • Must be a self-starter, able to work autonomously and able to operate with minimal supervision in a highly visible, complex environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels of the organization

  • Creative and innovative troubleshooter who possesses very strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to effectively multi-task with very strong organizational and collaboration skills

  • Prior demonstrated experience/ability to solicit, acquire and synthesize information/data from multiple sources into clear and concise executive level briefings

  • Have a high situational awareness, be able to effectively work multiple projects simultaneously with diverse groups and customers

  • Advanced proficiency in Office 365 tool suite and collaboration tools including Sharepoint, Excel, Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint and OneNote

  • Prior experience leading change management and large projects/initiatives

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the various directorates/work streams within Collins DT and Corporate Enterprise Services
