The Digital Content Specialist is responsible for writing, reviewing, and developing content strategy in support of all of AmeriHealth Caritas’ digital assets.

The Digital Content Specialist is responsible for writing, reviewing, and developing content strategy in support of all of AmeriHealth Caritas’ digital assets, including:

• Websites.
• Email, texting, and social campaigns.
• Portals and mobile applications.
• Marketing campaigns, including paid search, social, display, and other digital advertising.
• Videos and other multimedia projects.

Additionally, this role will perform website content maintenance tasks through a content management system, as assigned.

Content deliverables will be designed to meet the varying needs of our business, including AmeriHealth Caritas Corporate management and emerging, new, or existing health plans. They will also provide counsel and support on AmeriHealth Caritas’ key content goals and initiatives, and infuse digital thinking into communication methods throughout the organization.

This role will partner with the larger Creative Content team as part of the Creative Services, Brand, and Advertising team. They will also work closely with those supporting Market and Corporate Communications, Creative Operations, Customer Experience, Digital Strategy, Marketing, other Corporate leaders and experts, and outside partners/suppliers.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s in communications, English, digital marketing, or related field
• 3 – 5 years of digital content/writing/marketing experience.
• Demonstrated experience with web content management systems.
• Researches, writes and edits digital content for our market and enterprise digital assets.
• Experience writing within the health care field and/or health insurance experience preferred.
• Stays abreast of current industry standards and techniques to ensure effective content that achieves the organization's goals.
• Maintains knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures related to copy writing, with an expertise in digital.
• Ensures digital content is written and presented in a format that meets web usability standards, is consistent with company style guidelines and meets reading level requirements when necessary.
• Conceptualizes, drafts, executes, and maintains SEO friendly digital content with our primary audiences in mind.
• Enforces digital content policies/standards and providing primary governance for all content.
• Uses web analytic data to expand content important to our audiences to prioritize most highly visited content and remove/archive unused or outdated content.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must possess a nimble and flexible working style, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Demonstrated success collaborating across teams and departments, as well as mobilizing others around long-term projects and efforts.
• Strong attention to detail.

NOTE: AmeriHealth Caritas utilizes a hybrid work environment with associates working from home two days a week, and in the office three days a week. The functions of this position will be performed onsite at our offices located at 3875 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, 19073 .
