Are you interested in providing individualized care to residents in a 19 bed long-term care household? Then we are looking for you!_*
As the Homemaker, you will provide high quality care for all of our residents by working collaboratively with the household leaders, nurse aides, residents and their family members to ensure the household runs smoothly and efficiently for residents and the household team. The Homemaker is responsible for the light cooking, such as snack preparation, serving meals and cleanup.
We are transforming to the household model of resident care. As part of the Household Model, our community has implemented a Resident Centered philosophy. Our team is dedicated to getting to know the people they serve, as well as their fellow associates. Above all we are looking for team members with a strong commitment to working together and facilitating a meaningful life for those who live at Richfield.
We are currently accepting applications for a creative, motivated and dynamic Full Time & Part Time Homemakers* in the Salem Health Center*. The schedule will be determined by the assigned household.

Qualifications:
- High school or equivalent education preferred.
- Some prior work experience is preferred but not required.
- Flexibility of schedule and the ability to work overtime may be required.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate clearly, follow written or verbal instructions.
- Manual dexterity, motor coordination, visual acuity and sensory judgments are necessary.
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- Must demonstrate the ability to interact with the residents in a polite and professional manner.
- Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
- ServSafe Certified or willing to become certified within 6 months of hire.
- Assisted Dining Course to be completed within 6 months of hire.
- Ability to cross train between housekeeping and dining services duties
