DEVELOPMENTAL INSTRUCTOR- Orland Park, IL
Job description

CTF Illinois is seeking an organized and motivated professional to join our team as a Developmental Instructor in Orland Park, IL. The Developmental Instructor will assist our individuals with developmental disabilities by coordinating curriculum, daily activities, and providing QIDP support at the location.
Job Duties:
- Monday- Friday schedule (no on call)
- Design and provide quality services and programming for individuals receiving services
- Implement and maintain each individual’s service plan and personal history book
- Ensure each induvial is receiving their benefits and assist with budgeting, including but not limited to: food stamps, Medicaid card
- Coordinate with other departments and outside providers, including but not limited to: nursing department and other medical professionals
- Conduct observations, establish goals, and supervise day program staff
- Complete documentation and conduct activity and advisory council meetings as needed
- Assure adaptive equipment is maintained and in good condition

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from a four- year college or university required in Human Services or related field
- Meet requirements for certification and training as a QMRP/QIPD.
- 1 year of expericne working with people who have deleopmental disability
- Basic user knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook,etc.), and/or other PC applications.
- Possess valid drivers license with acceptable driving record per company requirements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.50 per hour
