ABOUT US:

The Detailer is responsible for fully detailing vehicles before, during and/or after repairs are completed.

• Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• 
  
  Ensure the work area is clean and organized.
• 
  
  Inspect work to determine the repair needs to specifications and work order.
• 
  
  Disassemble and reassemble vehicles to perform repairs needed.
• 
  
  Notify management if additional repairs are needed if any.
• 
  
  Complete detail using abrasives, solvents, brushes, corrosive chemicals, and others not listed.
• 
  
  Utilize power equipment to buff and complete the refinish process. Remove minor defects left from the refinishing of vehicles and buff panels.
• 
  
  Dispose of hazardous waste in an appropriate manner.
• 
  
  Check completed jobs to ensure quality standards are met.
• 
  
  Cooperates and assists other personnel in the repair of vehicles as necessary.
• 
  
  Maintain and wear all required safety equipment.
• 
  
  Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
• 
  

  Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect body shop operations.
