Deposit Documentation Specialist - Exception Identification, tracking, reporting & verification (CD and IRA focus)
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Preform the following duties as assigned: Review all new/revised accounts for accuracy and note exceptions. Upload IRA information into new account opening platform for branch staff to retrieve and process with the customer. Answers branch inquiries via phone in a professional and knowledgeable manner. Know and promote all bank products. Stay abreast of all procedures and processes as it relates to new accounts, trusts, titling of accounts, stops, holds etc. Serves as a resource for branch personnel as it relates to all types of deposit accounts with specific emphasis on IRAs, CDs, HSAs, and exception management. Special keying projects as assigned. Look back imaged documents as assigned and resubmit exceptions as needed. Participate in outside community activities as required. Adheres to compliance with all federal bank regulations and laws, including those for consumer protection and the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program.

Highly detailed. Able to follow up and manage exception tracking. Accepts new challenges and changes with optimism. Able to focus on high level of detail verification while performing repetitive tasks. Positive communication skills with customers and others. Excellent computer/keyboarding skills. Familiar and experienced in Windows based file management (Desktop, saving, moving of files). Minimum of 2 years banking operations or new accounts in customer service area. Familiar with regulatory rules and bank procedures as relates to deposit accounts (IRAs, titling, trusts etc.). Ability to remember codes and relationships between codes when changes are required.
