Point Family Dentistry, an established, private dental practice located in the heart of Bloomington, is looking to add a part-time Dental Patient Care Coordinator to our team. As a practice, we pride ourselves on making the patient our #1 priority. We offer a fun, friendly environment with people who care about providing a high quality, professional experience to every patient that walks through our door.

As the Dental Patient Care Coordinator, your duties will include:

• Greeting patients at check in and collecting all pertinent forms.
• Coordinate with clinical team to make sure follow up treatment and hygiene appts are scheduled.
• Assist clinic manager with social media and marketing efforts to grow the clinic by bringing in new patients and retaining existing ones.
• Effectively manage clinic schedules to maximize provider efficiency.
• Utilize tools, skills, and talents to assist patients in making the best possible decision for their unique wants and needs, remembering that the most important choice the patient will make is getting started with treatment
• Properly use patient account software and maintain accuracy in records related to patient financials. Obtain necessary insurance approvals in a timely manner
• Prepare and present accurate treatment plans to patients
• Educate patients about their financial options and responsibilities
• Follow up with unscheduled treatment and recall lists
• Verify insurance and pre-treatment estimates per insurance portals
• Check out patients and collect co-pays
• Confirm patient appointments

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
